Terms of Service

Account Authorization & Permissions

• By adding the Bot to your server, you grant it the necessary permissions (as requested during the OAuth2 invite process) to function, which may include reading messages, managing roles, managing nicknames, and viewing channels.
• Server administrators are responsible for configuring the Bot's settings, including role mappings. You authorize the Bot to access necessary server information (like role lists) and user information (like user IDs and current roles) to perform its configured tasks.
• You confirm that you have the authority within your Discord server to grant these permissions and configure the Bot.

Acceptable Use

• You agree to use the Bot in compliance with Discord's Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and all applicable local, national, and international laws and regulations.
• You agree not to misuse the Bot for any unlawful, harmful, or disruptive purposes. This includes, but is not limited to, attempting to exploit the Bot, interfere with its operation on other servers, harass users, or circumvent Discord platform limitations.
• Configuration of the Bot should not violate Discord's policies (e.g., setting inappropriate nicknames automatically).

Service Availability & Modifications

• We strive to maintain high availability for the Bot, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Bot may experience downtime due to maintenance, updates, Discord outages, hosting issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
• We reserve the right to modify, update, suspend, or discontinue the Bot, or any of its features, at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused by such actions.

Intellectual Property

• The Bot, including its name, logo, code, features, and documentation, is the intellectual property of its creators ("We", "Us"). All rights are reserved.
• You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Bot as intended within the Discord platform. You agree not to copy, modify, distribute, sell, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works based on the Bot without our express written permission.

Limitation of Liability

• The Bot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
• To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use or inability to use the Bot, including data loss, server disruption, incorrect role assignments, or issues caused by third-party platforms (Discord, Roblox).

Indemnification

• You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Us and our affiliates, officers, agents, and developers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or in any way connected with your access to or use of the Bot, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party right, including intellectual property rights.

Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Germany, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any legal action or proceeding arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the courts located in Germany, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction and venue therein.

Account Linking Authorization

• When you use the Bot's features to link your Roblox account (e.g., via the /link command), you authorize the Bot to access specific information from your Roblox account through approved methods (like Roblox OAuth or profile verification codes) for the sole purpose of verifying ownership.
• The specific data accessed (e.g., Roblox User ID, username, group memberships/ranks) is outlined in our Privacy Policy and is used only as necessary for the Bot's core functionality (linking accounts and syncing roles).
• You represent and warrant that you are the legitimate owner of the Roblox account you are linking or have explicit permission from the owner to do so.

Data Security & Responsibility

• We employ security measures as detailed in our Privacy Policy to protect the connection and data accessed from Roblox.
• You remain solely responsible for the security of your Roblox account credentials (password, 2FA codes). The Bot will never ask for your Roblox password. Do not share your password with anyone claiming to represent the Bot.
• Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use of your linked account through the Bot.

Data Use Limitations

• Information obtained from your Roblox account is used strictly for verifying your identity and associating it with your Discord account for configured role management within specific Discord servers.
• We do not use your Roblox data for unrelated purposes, advertising, or sharing with unauthorized third parties. Refer to our Privacy Policy for details.

Service Availability & Roblox Platform

• The functionality of the Roblox linking and role synchronization features depends on the availability and proper functioning of Roblox's APIs and platform services.
• We are not responsible for interruptions, errors, or inaccuracies caused by changes or outages on the Roblox platform itself. We will endeavor to adapt the Bot to Roblox API changes where feasible.

Limitation of Liability (Roblox)

• We are not liable for any issues, damages, or losses related to your Roblox account that may arise directly or indirectly from using the Bot's linking features, including but not limited to account restrictions imposed by Roblox, loss of virtual items, or data inaccuracies originating from the Roblox platform. Use the linking feature at your own discretion.

Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes (e.g., through a bot announcement, support server, or website update). Your continued use of the Bot after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Bot, or the Bot's operation in a specific server, at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms or Discord's/Roblox's policies, without prior notice. You can stop using the Bot at any time by removing it from your server or unlinking your account.

Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Us regarding the use of the Bot and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
