• Configuration Data: Server administrators provide configuration details, such as the Roblox Group ID to monitor and mappings between Roblox ranks and Discord roles. This data is associated with the Discord server ID.

How We Use Collected Information

Your information is used solely for the following purposes:

• Account Verification & Linking: To securely verify that you own the Roblox account you are linking and associate it with your Discord account within the context of a specific server using Rob.
• Role Management: To automatically assign, update, or remove Discord roles based on your verified Roblox group membership and rank, according to the rules set by the server administrators.
• Service Operation & Improvement: We may use aggregated and anonymized data (which does not identify you personally) to monitor bot performance, troubleshoot issues, and improve the overall functionality and user experience of Rob. We do not analyze individual user behavior patterns.

Data Security

We are committed to protecting your information. We implement industry-standard security measures, including secure data transmission (HTTPS) and access controls, to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction of your data. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Data Retention

We retain your linked account information (Roblox ID, Discord ID, server ID association) only for as long as it is necessary to provide the role synchronization services within the servers you use Rob in, or until you unlink your account using the /unlink command in a specific server. Server configuration data is retained as long as the bot is configured in that server. Anonymized, aggregated data for service improvement may be kept longer. You can request the deletion of your linked data by contacting us (see below).

Third-Party Services & Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personally identifiable information to third parties. Your data is primarily shared only with the necessary APIs (Discord API, Roblox API) to perform the core functions of the bot. We may use third-party services for hosting, error logging, or basic analytics (e.g., command usage statistics), but these services are chosen carefully and are bound by confidentiality agreements where applicable, and we strive to minimize the data shared with them. We will not share your specific linked account details unless required by law.
